Accessibility Statement
In short: we want everyone, including people who use assistive technology, to be able to use alarion.ai. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. If something on the site is not working for you, please tell us and we will fix it.
Our commitment
Alarion is committed to making its website accessible to people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as part of how the site is built and reviewed, not as an afterthought, and we aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
What we have done
- Structure. Pages use semantic HTML with landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer) and a logical heading order, so screen-reader users can move around the page efficiently.
- Keyboard. Everything can be operated with a keyboard. A "Skip to content" link is the first focusable element, focus is always visible, and focus is managed inside the menu and demo dialog and returned when they close.
- Text alternatives. Meaningful images have text alternatives; decorative visuals, including the animated background, are hidden from assistive technology.
- Contrast and text. Text and interface components meet the AA contrast ratios. Text can be resized to 200% and the layout reflows down to a 320-pixel-wide viewport without horizontal scrolling.
- Motion. The site honours your operating system's "reduce motion" setting. It also has a "Pause animations" button in the top bar that stops the background animation, transitions and the product slideshow, and the slideshow has its own pause control. Nothing on the site flashes.
- Forms. Every field in the demo-request form has a visible label, optional fields are marked, and errors are described in text next to the field and announced to assistive technology.
- No time limits. Nothing on the site times out or requires a response within a set time.
Known limitations
- The animated particle background is decorative. It needs WebGL to render and is hidden from assistive technology. It can be paused with the "Pause animations" control.
- Some purely decorative labels (the story captions and page counter at the bottom of the screen) are intentionally hidden from screen readers because they repeat information available elsewhere.
How we assess the site
This site was evaluated using automated accessibility testing and manual keyboard review against WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We review the statement and re-test the site when the site changes materially, and at least once a year.
Compatibility
The site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, on desktop and mobile devices, and with the screen readers and other assistive technologies that those browsers support.
