Terms of Use

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at alarion.ai (the "Site"), which is operated by Alarion AI Ltd., Tel Aviv, Israel ("Alarion", "we", "us" or "our"). By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. What the Site is, and what it is not

• Informational only. The Site describes Alarion's products and services for legal professionals. It is provided for general information.
• Not legal advice. Nothing on the Site is legal advice, and nothing on it is a substitute for the judgment of a licensed attorney. Using the Site, requesting a demo or contacting us does not create an attorney-client relationship or any other professional relationship with Alarion.
• Not an offer. Product descriptions, screenshots, sample outputs and illustrative examples are for information only and do not form part of any contract. The Alarion platform and plugins are provided only under separate written agreements. Features, availability and pricing may change without notice and may differ between jurisdictions.
• No guarantee of outcomes. Alarion's products assist with the review of evidence. They do not guarantee any legal result. Any output must be reviewed and verified by qualified professionals before it is relied on or used in any proceeding.
• Statistics and third-party data. The Site cites statistics from third-party publications, which are identified where they appear. We present them in good faith but do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of third-party data.

3. Demo requests and communications

When you submit the demo-request form or contact us, you agree to provide accurate information, and you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are acting in a professional capacity. Submitting a request does not oblige Alarion to provide a demo or enter into any agreement, and we may decline a request at our discretion. Information you submit is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Intellectual property

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, screenshots, video, software, design and their selection and arrangement, are owned by or licensed to Alarion and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Alarion grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view the Site for your personal use or your organisation's internal evaluation of our products.

Except as permitted by law, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, frame, scrape, modify or create derivative works from the Site's content, or use it to train or evaluate machine-learning models, without our prior written consent. Open-source components used on the Site, such as the three.js library (MIT licence) and the Inter, Space Grotesk and JetBrains Mono typefaces (SIL Open Font License), are governed by their own licences.

5. Trademarks

"Alarion" and the Alarion logo are trademarks of Alarion. Other company, product and service names that appear on the Site, including Cellebrite, NICE, Anthropic, Claude, Google and NotebookLM, are the trademarks of their respective owners. They are used only to identify those companies and products, or to describe the professional background of our team, and their use does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by or endorsement from those owners.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Site in any way that breaks applicable law or infringes the rights of others;
• interfere with the security, integrity or performance of the Site, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or to any related system;
• use bots, scrapers or other automated means to access the Site, other than search engines indexing it in the ordinary way;
• submit false, misleading or malicious information through the demo form or otherwise, or impersonate any person or organisation;
• carry out security or penetration testing of the Site without our prior written permission.

7. Third-party services and links

The Site is hosted by GitHub, Inc., and demo requests are received through Google Forms. The Site may also link to third-party websites. We do not control those services or sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alarion disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alarion and its officers, directors, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. To the same extent, our total liability for all claims relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD 100). Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alarion from any claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section deprives you of any mandatory consumer protection you are entitled to under the laws of the place where you live.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page shows when they were last changed. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Alarion about your use of the Site. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor.
